It's a classic case of jumping the gun. Reports that Katrina Kaif has joined Ranbir Kapoor for a holiday abroad are not only false but also damaging to the very professional actress' reputation.
Says a friend of Katrina's, "This image of a love-struck kitten who follows her loved one everywhere he goes is just not Katrina. She truly resents the attempt to make her appear like that."
Shooting down reports that she was holidaying with Ranbir, the friend says, "Katrina has just completed one of her toughest roles in Dhoom 3. She is now getting ready for another big challenge. Kabir Khan's new film has her playing a role that would demand high-velocity stunts from her. She would have to train along with Saif for the action scenes in Beirut."
Katrina leaves for Beirut on 19 October to start shooting from October 20.
Kabir Khan who has shot earlier in Afghanistan has again selected a rugged volatile location.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala who is recuperating from a lower-back injury would also be joining Saif and Katrina and Kabir Khan in Beirut.
Incidentally, Katrina is Sajid Nadiadwala's rakhi-sister from the time when she was in a relationship with his best friend Salman. This is the first time he would be working with her.
