Having taken the PRAAN JAYE PAR SHAAN NA JAYE setback in his stride, director Sanjay Jha is on the verge of releasing his next film STRINGS. A crossover English film, made on a shoestring budget and shot entirely in Kumbh Mela held recently in Nasik, STRINGS is a story of identity crisis in an alien land. Its story is seen from the perspective of a young protagonist. It is about a British guy's brush with Indian traditions and culture, informs Jha, Once showed at foreign fests, it will open avenues for other Indian films. Though it will have an all-India release some time in February next year, Jha is targeting foreign film festivals like Locarno Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival for international exposure. Starring Vinit Kumar and Sandhya Mridul, besides being the launch pad of Kabir Bedi's son Adam Bedi, STRINGS is presently on the editing table.
