Jackky Bhagnani is the latest to join the bandwagon of Bollywood actors who have starred in Hindi remakes of south films. Jackky is all set to play the romantic lead in the remake of the super hit Telugu film Seema Tapakai.
Speaking about the film, Jackky says, "The film is a romcom with a twist. It is about being someone but pretending to be someone else. I play this rich guy who pretends to be poor."
Jackky Bhagnani to star in Seema Tapakai remakeThe yet untitled film directed by Sanjay Gadhvi, will be produced by Puja Films and will have music composed by Sajid-Wajid. The leading lady of the film is yet to be finalized.
On working with Dhoom director Sanjay Gadhvi, Jackky says, "Oh I am very excited about working with Sanjay Gadhvi, he is an experienced director and has made some amazing films. Since I am quite new in the industry, I think this is a great opportunity."
The film will go on floors on April 13 and the makers of the film are looking to release it anytime between September and November this year. The first schedule will be shot in Mumbai.
