Quite a while back Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna were in the middle of a controversy during the Lakme fashion week, when Twinkle unbuttoned Akki's jeans. Though the entire act was a promotional stunt for a popular denim brand, the unbuttoning act didn't sit well with audience.
Post the incident, a social worker had filed a complaint with the Vakola Police Station for obscenity. Now the Bombay High Court in its ruling by Justice Abhay Thipsay, has ruled that the police should go ahead with the prosecution of Akshay and Twinkle for obscenity. While on the other hand, the court discharged the secretary of the event management company from the case who was also booked under the same.
