There is tremendous speculation about JHANKAAR BEATS director Sujoy Ghosh's new film, titled BORIVALI. Reportedly, Ghosh has had meetings with Amitabh Bachchan and Naseeruddin Shah two of the finest talents of Indian screen to star in the film. Ghosh has been tight-lipped about the star cast ever since he had discussions with the two actors, but here's the official statement. Has Naseer confirmed the project? Mr. Shah has read the script and verbally agreed, but the modalities have to be worked out, Ghosh informs me. As for the Big B, the veteran has agreed to be a part of the venture, which comes as a lifesaver, because no Mr. Bachchan means no movie, to quote Ghosh verbatim. The pre-production work will begin later this year. Few bits and pieces still need to be sorted out, the talented director adds, We should begin filming later this year or early next year. As for who'd produce it, Ghosh isn't telling yet. We're still discussing, so there's no point revealing the identity of the producer. Will let you know the moment it's finalised, he states.
