Of late, many actors have been following their passion for singing and have been lending their voices for the songs in their own films. But Ayushmann Khurrana debuted as a singer and actor in the same film in 2012 (Vicky Donor).
Owing to the popularity of ‘Pani Da Rang‘ which even fetched him awards for ‘Best Singer’, Ayushmann continued his love for music and even released his singles including the recent ‘Mitti Di Khusboo‘. And now with his next film Hawaizaada all set to release in January 2015, Ayushmann has composed and sung the popular ghazal of Mirza Galib titled ‘Dil-E-Nadaan‘ for the film after which he has been credited as the music director of the same. Claiming it to be a new experience, Ayushmann who has often collaborated with his friend Rochak Kohli for his previous hits, stated that this is the first time that he has composed a song on his own and he feels really satisfied with the experience. He further also added that though his partnership with Rochak will continue, he will also be looking at composing tracks solely.
Hawaizaada which also stars Pallavi Sharda, Mithun Chakraborty in prominent roles is based on the life of Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, who is said to have constructed India’s first unmanned airplane. Directed by Vibhu Puri and produced by Reliance Entertainment, Hawaizaada is slated to release on January 30, 2015.
