If you thought that only Bollywood films boasted of having the surprise element (read 'cameos') in them, then, better think again. The makers of the popular reality show 'Indian Idol 6' showed the presence of their seasoned judges (Sunidhi Chauhan, Anu Malik and Salim Merchant) in their promos. But the presence of the legendary Asha Bhosle had been kept as the surprise element.
Now that the cat is out of the bag, it can officially be told that Asha will be joining the trio on the judging panel in the sixth season of the reality show. Talking about the show, she said that the first thing that she will ever look for in any contestant is their 'sur' and that her focus will be on 'sur' because it is the most important part of singing. She also added that she doesn't like singers who are not been trained properly. She opined that it is very important for singers to have a classical training as it helps them to sing the right notes and that if the foundation of a building is strong, it stands tall forever. Similarly, classical training sets the base for good singing.
With Asha Bhosle coming on board with 'Indian Idol 6', all eyes will surely be glued on their TV sets on June 1, when the show goes live.
