Anu Malik lately seen at his aggressive best on Indian Idol, has been deliberately lying low.
“I’ve reached that stage in my career where I don’t need to constantly prove myself. I also had a health scare recently. Anything could’ve happened to me. But I came out of it miraculously unscathed. Now I only want to work with the people I’m comfortable with and those who are comfortable with me,” promises Anu.
His first lunge into the international arena is around the corner. Anu will record a fusion Turkish-Hindi track with the Turkish singing sensation Petek Dincoz. The song will be used as an item number in Apoorva Lakhia’s Mission Istanbul.
Anu and his director will be flying down to Istanbul next month to meet up with rock musicians.
