Airlift, as expected, proved to be the first hit of 2016 and has garnered a lot of appreciation and love from the masses. However, Akshay Kumar has now decided to take a step ahead for the film where he wants every child in the country to watch the film.
Akshay Kumar recently took to social media to post about his efforts to screen Airlift in schools by saying, "The response from school kids across the country has been overwhelming to say the least. Would love for more schools to get their students to watch the film. Write to us at email@example.com and we will arrange for the screening at a nominal price." While according to his post some schools have already made their children watch the film which is about the biggest human evacuation on a commercial airplane, there are some who still haven't been able to get a glimpse of the movie. Akshay Kumar now wants to ensure that the film is made available to all kids. During the recent interviews and promotions, the Khiladi actor always maintained that he wanted to incorporate about the evacuation as a part of the curriculum for school children. Looks like the actor has taken yet another step towards fulfilling his wish!
Also starring Nimrat Kaur, Purab Kohli in prominent roles, Airlift is directed by Raja Krishna Menon and is produced by Bhushan Kumar in association with Nikkhil Advani, Krishna Kumar, Aruna Bhatia, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Vikram Malhotra.
