Despite being in Bollywood for over two decades, Akshay Kumar still rules the roost when it comes to action stars and the actor has been a live performer since the early stages of his career. However, this time around, Akshay Kumar's performance will be even more special considering that it will be his 500th live performance.
The show in question will take place at the famous O2 Arena in London, UK on August 9. Akshay Kumar performed for the first time, live at a show in Delhi in 1991 and later, became a part of many such live shows across the globe over the years. Though Akshay Kumar is busy with his film shooting and promotions, he will be taking some time out for this London show where he will also be seen acting, doing mimicry along with dancing.
Akshay Kumar, who also co-owns a Kabaddi team, decided to go ahead with his performance, despite his team's participation in the ongoing Kabaddi League. Akshay Kumar advocates and encourages sports and in order to contribute for the development of sports in India, he recently invested in a Kabaddi team along with many other Bollywood stars like Abhishek Bachchan. We also hear that since the actor will not be able to attend all the matches due to his show in London, he has decided to dedicate his performance to all the Kabaddi fans.
Post this, Akshay Kumar will resume the promotions of his upcoming film Entertainment starring Tamannaah Bhatia, Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj. Akshay also has many other films in hand like Neeraj Pandey's Baby starring Tapsee Pannu and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gabbar starring Shruti Haasan and Prakash Raj among others. Akshay also owns a production house called Grazing Goats along with Ashwini Yardi and they have recently ventured into the television space with the serial 'Jamai Raja'.
