In a shocking turn of events, a new war has started between Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar, which has made some shocking revelations.
Ajay Devgn demands investigation on whether Karan Johar paid Rs 25 lakh to KRK to bash ShivaayOn Thursday, Ajay Devgn released an audio clip in which self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan revealed that he was paid Rs 25 lakh to praise Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He wrote, "Hear what self proclaimed no. 1 critic and trade analyst Kamaal R Khan has to say." For those who don't know, Ajay's next Shivaay will be clashing at the box office with Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Right after that, Ajay Devgn released an official statement saying that he has been a part of the Indian film industry for the past 25 years and has been associated with over 100 films. His father was a professional action director and that's why he has an emotional connection with this industry. It, therefore, pained him to see that people like Kamaal R Khan were holding the film industry to ransom by spreading negativity about films to extort money from producers. He further added that it was very sad that people from their own industry have been supporting such elements and spoiling the ethos of the film industry. Lastly, he demanded this be thoroughly investigated by competent authorities to clarify if Karan Johar was indeed involved in this.
As soon KRK got the news about the telephonic conversation, he took to his twitter account and revealed that Ajay Devgn and his co-producer Kumar Mangat too had approached him to promote Shivaay and bash Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He wrote, "Kumar+Ajay offered me money to bash #AeDilHaiMushkil as he is offering in the tape also but I refused. I told them that I will do it free. Ppl thinking that I called Kumar Mangat but not true. Actually he is close friend n he only called me n he called me many times before also. One side Ajay Devgan is calling me self claimed critic n other side he thinks that I am really powerful no.1 critic who can harm his film. Today both films #Shivaay n #AeDilHaiMushkil got free publicity of millions of ? with my name and this is the power of The Brand KRK. G.N."
In an exclusive interaction with CNN News18, Kumar Mangat said that it is clear that KRK was paid to do this. He said that their legal team will be looking into the matter seriously and will take an action against the concerned person.
