As the closing day for Subhash Ghai’s ‘Whistling Woods’ is nearing, support seems to be pouring from all the corners of Bollywood.
After Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar and others, it’s now Vidya Balan who has pledged her support for institution. She urged the government to support the survival of ‘Whistling Woods’ with dignity that it has achieved.
Readers may recall, in the year 2012, the Bombay High Court had ordered Subhash Ghai to vacate the plot of land on which the said acting school was situated in lieu of a PIL (Public Interest Litigation). The High Court had given Ghai a deadline of July 31 this year to hand over the land. The case has come up for hearing today.
