The loss estimated by the makers of Black when a fire erupted on its sets recently is not just restricted to Rs 1 crore as reported by the media. The set itself was worth Rs 1.5 crores, while the other equipment and machinery were worth Rs 4.5 crores. With all this the total loss is assessed to be as much as Rs 6 crores. To add to the mayhem, the equipment supplier companies are quite upset for the loss of their expensive machinery and are demanding an immediate replacement of the same. The 'Get a Grip' company has accrued a loss of Rs 70 lakhs wherein its Panther machine was burnt on the sets. Bhansali is said to have claimed that he couldn't help the suppliers, as he was just the director of the film. But the suppliers said that the bills have been issued to them in the joint-venture firm of Applause-Bhansali productions. Meanwhile another set is being constructed at the Filmistan Studio in jet-speed and if everything goes fine, the shooting of Black will probably resume from February 27.
