Award blooper: Love Story 2050 to bag Golden Cursor Animation Award for best VFX?

This is some piping hot news and how! In a major slip up, the results for the Golden Cursor Animation Awards '09 (GCA) are out and post-production major Prime Focus is all set to bag the 'Best VFX Award' for the 2008 release Love Story 2050.

Besides this, Yash Raj Films' Roadside Romeo (Best Title Sequence), Viacom 18 (Best Public Service Announcement) and Famous Studio's Sulekha.com (Best Animated TV Commercial) are also expected to be among the winners of the annual animation awards event. All this courtesy a human mistake by a GCA partner organization where it uploaded an excel sheet on its website, with the results marked in red. The file was later replaced but, Bollywood Hungama gets you the list of what we will call 'the favorites', well, at least till the awards are formally announced on Friday night, 8th May at Hyatt Regency, Mumbai.
