Sukhee Movie

Sukhee is the coming-of-age story of a housewife from a small town in India. The film tells the story of Sukhee (Shilpa Shetty Kundra), who lives a simple life with her husband Guru (Chaitanya Choudhry) and daughter Jassi (Maahi Raj Jain) in Punjab. She follows a routine life where she... just has to look after her husband and daughter’s needs. She gets a chance to move out of her mundane life when her school plans a re-union. Sukhee is eager to attend and meet her old friends but her chauvinist husband disapproves the same. However, she goes ahead despite the opposition. At the reunion, Sukhee’s friends make her realize that she is just living for others without much respect in return, especially from her husband, and that she should start living for herself. This motivates Sukhee to make a life-changing decision. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
