Two months after the theatrical run, Shilpa Shetty's slice-of-life comedy film, Sukhee, has finally made its way to the streaming platform Netflix.

Netflix shared the exciting news on its Instagram handle, posting a vibrant poster of the movie and inviting viewers to delve into the heartwarming dramedy featuring the talented Shilpa Shetty.

Sukhee tells the story of its protagonist, Sukhee, portrayed by Shilpa Shetty, a homemaker seeking a break from her routine life. She decides to embark on a fun-filled trip to Delhi with her friends. While the film exudes humour and vibrancy, it subtly addresses societal issues such as patriarchy and women's empowerment through its dialogues. It sheds light on the expectations placed on women, often compelling them to prioritize family responsibilities over their personal aspirations.

Directed by Sonal Joshi and co-written by Joshi, Radhika Anand, Paulomi Dutta, and Rupinder Inderjit, Sukhee features a diverse cast, including social media influencers Kusha Kapila, Amit Sadh, Chaitannya Choudhury, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral, Kiran Kumar, and Vinod Nagpal.

The film originally hit theaters on September 22. Shilpa Shetty was earlier seen in the 2022 action-comedy Nikamma. She is also set to grace the screen in the Kannada action film KD - The Devil, directed by Prem and featuring Dhruva Sarja, Reeshma Nanaiah, Sanjay Dutt, and V. Ravichandran. The multilingual movie is expected to be released later this year. Shilpa Shetty also has Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force.
