SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE is an extremely different kind of film in the genre of Romantic Comedy.The film is very good and never has a dull moment at all due to which there is no boredom during its running time of 127 minutes.
Sushant Singh Rajput is very spontaneous in his act as tourist guide Raghu,a guy who is confused in his takes on commitment and marriage.Parineeti Chopra is as usual very good in her performance as Gayatri,the no nonsense girl.Debutant Vaani Kapoor shows a lot of promise in her first film itself.Rishi Kapoor as Goel is a class act.
Concept wise,i felt i was watching something new.The film makes u understand an underrated philosophy in a very entertaining manner ie get married only if u want to,not bcoz its important to get married to be in the society.
The music is good n fresh.The locations of Jaipur and Amergarh are shown beautifully throughout the film to give it a very desi look.Overall,i loved the film.
