i think this is a film not to be missed although you are quite confused at the beggining and do get bored the film starts to lighten up. 

I saw Salaam-e-Ishq. Its a well made and executed potrayal of every possible cliche hindi cinema…  

I saw Salaam-e-Ishq. Its a well made and executed potrayal of every possible cliche hindi cinema has seen in the name of love, but watchable still. I loved the govinda track and Shanon Eshrechowitz,the american actress opposite him is a thorough natural and makes your heart melt everytime she is on screen. The Sohail Khan- Isha Kopikar is totally crass and mass oriented but I enjoyed it nonetheless :) Priyanka tries to pull off a Kareena Kapoor, but ends up hamming all the way (even if Kareena is criticized for such roles, no one can do them like she does). Anyways, Priyanka-Salman track is completely lifeless. John and Vidya look every bit the very much in love, young married couple and I hate to admit this, but I actually liked John's performance in a film for the first time. He has never before been able to potray any kind of sensitivity in his body language, and he looks cute ;) Finally coming to the real star of the film- Akhaye khanna. He has given one of his most accomplished performances ever. His role was such, that he could have easily tread towards the much dreaded path of over-acting. But he performs his role with such elan that after a long time a performance wants you to clap in the Theatre auditorium :) Ayesha Takia looks pretty but thats about it, she doesnt have much of a role. Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla shine in an otherwise cliched storyline and the new girl who plays the third angle, I think her name is Anjana, oozes confidence and sensuality, both of which are quite welcome. I had some basic problems with the film though. About Priyanka's character- why does a woman have to chose between love and career...why cant she have them both???? About Ayesha- Even after her fiance publically humiliates a woman and shows that he is an MCP, why does she decide to go ahead with the wedding???? Otherwise the film also needs to be edited a LOT, especially the salman priyanka portion, also the song 'Tenu leke main' which was basically a 5 minute ridiculously stupid proposal sequence needs to be chopped off right away. Still the movie is definitely watchable:)

Omg.....this movie was amazing. The concept of Love Actually but mixed with the most extraordinary performances. I Believe that every actor and actress were needed in this movie to complete it. Salman and Priyanka rocked! John and VIdya were like a pure love story! Akshay k. was funny until he got hilarious! Govinda was amazin, even though i usually don't like him. Anil was so awesome....as well as Juhi who was amazingly beautiful!Sohail and Isha were just purely funny. If Nikhil did it in KAL HO NA HO, he's done it again in "Salaam E Ishq"

I watched Salaam e Ishq last night and it is a awesome movie. I personally cant sit on one chair when the movie is 2 hours 20 mins.. my knees start to ache badly and i go restless.. and while watching Salaam e Ishq last night was was 3 hour plus movie.. I didnt feel a thing. Thats mainly because the movie is awesome.. very well made and all the love stories kept my interest on screen. It was totally hilarious. Was laughing through out. Entire movie hall was packed and it was sold out. I saw lines outside the movie which was amazing to watch the next show. Salman looked the youngest in the movie. He looked sooooooooooooooo HOT!! God bless him..he was simply the best! I wish I could see him more in the movie but he performed beautifully and made his audience smile all the time and with age he is getting younger and younger. Akshay Khanna... I dont know why he disappeared ... he is such a cutie.. and was awesome. Govinda was awesome too. Govinda, Akshay Khanna, Salman Khan. Sohail Khan were hilarious. In actress ... Australian actress she takes the cake. She was awesome. Fantastic and hilarious with her Hindi. John Abraham and Vidya Balan had such a touching love story and made me cry. Anil Kapoor and Juhi were good. I dont know the name of the girl but she will be Anil's girlfriend.. she was beautiful. On the whole the entire movie was such entertaining that seeing it once wasnt enough.. I am going to watch it again. A must watch for entire family. Nikhil Advani did a wonderful job. Kiddos to him. I give this movie all 10 stars. All actors and actresses were superp. Go and watch it .. you wont be disappointed. The only disappointing thing is to read such bad reviews about a good movie from media. I hope they start to work for the real sense instead of getting themselves sold for money and try to tarnish a good movie.

Forget what the critics say. This is one movie you have to judge for yourself. It was "HILARIOUS". If you want to spend most of your 3.5 hrs laughing, watch this movie. Yes it was long. Yes some scenes could have been cut out. But... Akshay and Govinda are amazing. Finally good acting by a "gori" actress. A definitely must-

Ok so yes the movie was really really long....but hey when you have about 13 prominent characters, it's bound to be long!!! Overall, some parts could have been trimmed but if you would have trimmed it, it would have looked incomplete. Akshaye Khanna, John Abraham, Salman Khan, and Govinda excel in their roles!!! The girls are all pretty good. Isha Kopikaar and Sohail Khan are wasted completely. The songs are all picturised really well except for Babuji Dheere Chalna, it was really unneeded. The love story between Salman and Priyanka is awesome!! Akshaye's and Ayesha's looks similar to Shaadi Se Phele, but this one is MUCH better! John and Vidya are by far the best actors in this movie, their track is so heart-breaking. Govinda provides excellent comic relief!!! Overall a worth-while movie! Make sure you catch it in theatres! Luv ya, Meera
