I watched Kurbaan again. Not because I liked it, but because I wanted to really see it, study it and understand where it really went wrong. And man, it's scarred with plot holes and so much bad script writing that I literally winced.

The script reeks of poor research, poor understanding of religious values and ideas, and also a poor attempt at character developments. It seemed to me that Kurbaan was all about entertainment only. Despite some very good dialogues in certain places and a good, strong plot-line along with brilliant actors on-board, Renzil D'Silva surely failed to deliver the real deal.

If anything, Kurbaan was only worth seeing because of Vivek's portrayal of Riyaaz. Not even because of the character, but because of the actor's awesome acting skills, despite having such a weakly developed role to play. Oh yeah, and Kirron Kher's portayal of her character as well. Very nicely done.
