This is definitely the worst film I have ever seen. The way in which Muslims were depicted was absolutely disgusting.

Yes, most terrorists call themselves Muslims but that does not mean they are Muslims. Its just a reason to justify their actions when, in reality, they are nothing but extremists and fundamentalists.

This movie shows "muslims" using women, children, religion, and race against everyone. Maybe Karan Johar doesn't know this or didn't want to show it but there are real Muslims who are trying to show the world what Islam really is. The only character in the movie that came even close to this was Vivek Oberio's. But even he was targeted as being a 'wannabe' American. Why couldn't he be shown as an individual who, along with being Muslim, is an American who is caught between right and wrong? But no, he was shown as a someone who wanted only to adapt to the larger societal and cultural norms.

Also, I saw no love story in this movie. Yes, it may have started out as one but the movie took a whole other turn with the main focus of "Muslims are Terrorists". Moreover, the only point of Avantika's character was to make-out with Ehsaan and be shown as a Hindu girl being used by Muslims. Again, what is with the religion? Why do Hindus and Muslims always have to be shown as against one another? Thankfully, though, Kareena Kapoor was able to put some soul into the character so it didn't end up as bad as it could have.

On the whole, this movie was absolutely anti-Islam. I never thought that Karan Johar would make such a prejudice movie. The only reason I stayed throughout it was to see if there would be anything said about those Muslims (which there are a lot of) who are innocent and who live upto what Islam really is. But no, there wasn't.

If any movie is worth seeing, it is New York. That is a good portrayal of what happens when terroritst strike- everyone is hurt.

Lastly, movies, like this one, should stop trying to argue who started what or who's fault this problem is but what should be done about it. How can everyone come together to overcome this problem as one nation and one world.
