Finally, I saw the film!!! I was very curious to see the film as the critics gave it rave reviews, which range from extremely poor to excellent.
I noticed, most of the critics were saying,
· Second half, the film dips.
· The film has extraordinary first half
· The idea of stay away from husband after married is ridiculous
· It has style and action, but no soul
· It worst than CC2C
· Javed Jafree was weakest character in the film.
But I surprised after watching the film when the all following facts doesn’t match to my own opinion.
As the film start, the action are really deserved an applauded. But the film can have a better start, and the start was very poor. Kareena looks exhausted. She can be much better and the film can start much better.
After that scene, the film was so-so. And it takes a jump when there are complications between Aftab-Amrita. It a comedy and it was truly funny.
Some scenes are truly remarkable.
· Kiron Kher gives the dupatta to Kareena
· Karmini and Kamini
· When Akshay pretend to be doctor
· The scene on the air plane while flying to Milan
While coming to second half, it was the culmination except one thing. Do we allow wearing watch while operating??? Why the tunes weren’t annoyable while the track Bebo?
Except these things, KI is one of the best films to be watch. All the seducing scenes are remarkable. At the last, the film re-became emotional before climax and end up with a happy ending.
Director Sabir Khan takes us to Hollywood, the beautiful locals of Europe. Only the film editing was a problem as it can be much better. His work is incredible for a debutant director.
Music by Anu Malik was so-so to good. Lakh Lakh is average and it works because of pictuarization. Kyun, bebo are good tracks. Om Mangalam is a chartbuster and eye catcher.
Akshay is truly a star. Look him in all action scene. He’s incredible. Kareena looks stunning. She can do better in some scenes. She’s excellent.
Kiron Kher is as usual, excellent. Amrita plays a dumb, where she succeeds. Aftab delivers a usual performance. Denise Richard is excellent, while, Stallone, and Brandon were eye catcher. Javed is another plus point in the film.
On the whole, KI is a good film. It has some negative points, but it deserves a watch finally. Its completely different from other film. It has great visual, plot, comedy and all that you need for a hard core masala film.
