Bajrangi Bhaijaan- Its too difficult for me to start this review without mentioning Harshaali Malhotra. She is a discovery. From the very start you easily connect with her character. Not a single word spoken by her , still you will laugh with her and cry with her. Whether its the scene where she get separated by her mother , or at a DHABAA she remembers her mother , or the climax scene and many more , she will make you cry even if you are made of stone. I have literally seen at least a dozen of people crying while watching this one. I my self was crying. So lets get our concentration on something else. Movie is about Pawan Chaturvedi aka Bajrangi who likes to help people before helping himself. He is basically a failure in every department his father wants him to succeed. But that doesn't make him a LOAFER. In fact he is very kind , gentle and calm , contrary to Salmaan's usual characters which is a delight to see. He gets a lost girl in KURUKHSHTRA , and when he get to know that she is from Pakistan,he decides to take her to Pakistan by himself after getting failed in other ways to send her to Pakistan. Like most of the Salmaan's movies this one also have 'its heart on a right place' but the good thing is that Kabir Khan has handled the melodramatic scenes very beautifully that those scenes don't make you bore rather you got involved with the emotions of the characters on the screen.
Kabir Khan is actually a pretty nice director and the only one who is associated to Salmaan Khan and making good movies (apart from Sooraj Barjaatia who is making comeback with Prem Ratan Dhan Pao). Rest of the directors with whom Salmaan works including two of his own brother are bad. I liked Salmaan a lot in this one. He was emoting totally . I wouldn't say this as his comeback as KICK was his comeback , but this is better , a lot better. This is what Salmaan can do. This is Salmaan in his Full Form . Without unwanted jokes , without unwanted dance numbers , without showing his muscle power. This movie will make you remember The CALM Salmaan from Hum Saath Saath Hein and the Emoting Salmaam from Tere Naam. I really really thinks Salmaan must select his directors more intelligently. Apart from him Kareena was good in every scene she was before interval and his chemistry with Salmaan has always been good but when its get to the 2nd half Salmaan's chemistry with Nawazuddin even gets better. With this film also Nawazuddin continues to give great performance in big movies standing side by side with a big superstar. Some good cinematography has been done in the movie. Songs were given as per the situation and doesn't break the flow. Although some scenes drag a bit , still the length of the movie will not make you wait to finish it. Than again what Bajrangi Bhaijaan is , just because of Harshaali Malhotra. I have no more words to describe her. Just remember what i said earlier , this movies can even make a STONE cry.. Undoubtedly a BLOCKBUSTER. And please ignore the logical gaps , after all it a Salmaan Khan movie.
