Sonam Kapoor is adorable as the rich, spoilt brat who is in love with matchmaking. She will look for love in others' life from evry1 from her Maasi to her friends. Shefali a small town girl from Bahadurganj is her latest project. First she gets her a makeover then tries to set her up with Randhir Gambhir (Cyrus Sahukar) who is infact smitten with none other than Aisha itself. Aisha, blind to this obvious fact, tries everything she can to make it happen fr Shefali n Randhir.
Meanwhile, Arjun Burman (Abhay) her old friend, neighbour and her Jeeju's younnger brother is back in town. He constantly critisizes Aisha for her immature ways, and stupid obsession of interfering with others personal lives. He is after her to grow up.
When Arjun's frnd Aarti comes to delhi from NY, Aisha is very jealous. she absolutely despises her and the fact that Arjun is always with her.
Also Dhruv, her new Maasu's son is also back in delhi, and is a good looking hunk which is quite different from the nerdy thin boy Aisha remembers him as. She starts spending time with him, especially around Arjun hoping he'd feel the same as she did with Aarti arnd. After her catastrophic attempt to unite Randhir and Shefali, Aisha now tries to match-make Dhruv and Shefali. Simultaneously Pinky, Aisha's best frnd has fallen for Randhir after he was coldly rejected by a shocked Aisha. Arjun on the other hand starts showing hw much he cares fr Aisha, wen he punches Dhruv fr making a cheap comment abt Aisha.
As the drama continues, Aisha realises life is not all fancy n perfect and ppl cannot always be matched forcefully. She also realises that she is in love with Arjun and must nt lose him. Aarti and Dhruv get engaged and Aisha and Arjun finally confess.
