Aazam – Rise Of A New Don Movie

Set against the backdrop of the underworld, Aazam is the story of Underworld don Nawab (Raza Murad) who is in search of heir. Nawab is suffering from cancer and, is on a lookout for someone to take his place. His four best friends — Pratab Shetty (Govind Namdeo), Shakir Shaikh... (Ali Khan), Firoz Namazi (Anang Desai) and Tatiya (Mushtaq Khan) — and home minister Madan Shirke (Sayaji Shinde) are keen on Pratab Shetty’s son, Annya Shetty (Vivek Ghamande) taking over as the successor but Nawab’s son, Kadar (Abhimanyu Singh), is keen on becoming the heir.

Kadar’s friend Javed (Jimmy Shergill) joins hands with him to fulfil the latter’s dream by eliminating Annya. Later, the duo also hatch a plan to murder the four best friends as well as the home minister so that Kader has no obstacles in his way to become the heir. However, in a twisted turn of events, Kadar gets murdered and it is revealed that Javed eliminated him to take the throne to himself, as he is illegitimate son of Nawab, a secret only known to him and his father. Surrendering himself to DCP Ajay Joshi (Indraneil Sengupta), Javed stops at nothing as he challenges the DCP about eliminating his father’s four best friends as well as every obstacle that comes in his way of becoming the leader.
