Vettaiyan: Amitabh Bachchan as Sathyadev introduced, hugs Rajinikanth in new behind-the-scenes video

As anticipation builds for the much-anticipated film featuring legends Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth in Vettaiyan, the production team has unveiled fresh insights, including a striking character poster of Bachchan. In the upcoming project, Bachchan will portray the character Sathyadev.

The production company, Lyca Productions, has also shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the filming of Rajinikanth interacting with the cast and crew of Vettaiyan without revealing his name. He was also seen talking to Anirudh Ravichander.

 

 

 

In another video, the makers highlighted a heartfelt moment between the two icons as they embrace on set. Their collaboration isn't new; the duo previously starred together in the 1991 film Hum. In promoting the film, Lyca Productions released a video with the caption, “Meet the powerhouse of *Vettaiyan*, introducing @SrBachchan as SATHYADEV. Get ready to witness his groundbreaking performance. *Vettaiyan* is set to hit theaters on October 10 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada!”

 

 

 

Bachchan himself expressed his delight at reuniting with Rajinikanth on social media. He wrote, “I am honoured and privileged to be with the Thala the Great Rajni again; he hasn’t changed at all. The same simple, humble, down-to-earth friend despite his stratospheric greatness!”

 

In the past couple of days, Lyca Productions has unveiled character behind-the-scenes of Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara.
