The controversy began during an interview with Lehren TV when Urvashi was asked about Daaku Maharaaj outperforming Game Changer. Urvashi stated, “I think ye pura hi game change ho gaya because obviously woh film ka bhi bohot zaada hype tha. But I think ki agar Kiara Advani ki Game Changer disaster hui hai and meri Daaku Maharaaj blockbuster hit hogayi hai, then it's not my mistake.” This comment triggered online backlash, with critics labeling her remarks as “arrogant.”

 

Social media users expressed their displeasure, with one person writing, “Peak delusion looks like this.” Another commented, “One hit film and she is behaving like this? Is she jealous?” Despite the backlash, Urvashi has maintained her stance and addressed the situation indirectly through social media.

 

Urvashi’s Cryptic Instagram Posts

 

Following the criticism, Urvashi shared several cryptic notes on her Instagram Stories. In one, she wrote, “Jealousy from a supreme disaster? Paid PR can't overshadow real talent and hard work.” Another note read, “When failure breeds envy, even paid PR can't eclipse genuine success.” These statements, while not naming anyone, appear to be aimed at addressing the backlash she received.

 

 

Interestingly, Urvashi also deleted a recent apology note she had shared on Instagram for Saif Ali Khan. This move further fueled speculation about her state of mind amid the controversies.
