Ram Charan starrer Peddi wraps crucial Delhi schedule; makers drop MAJOR update from sets

Peddi, one of the most anticipated Pan-India films of 2026, continues to build momentum with regular updates from its makers. Headlined by Global Star Ram Charan and featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, the Buchi Babu Sana directorial has now successfully wrapped up a key shooting schedule in Delhi.

Taking to social media, the makers shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the sets, featuring director Buchi Babu Sana and ace cinematographer R. Rathnavelu. Along with the image, they confirmed that the Delhi leg of the shoot has been completed, hinting at visually rich and emotionally immersive sequences filmed during this schedule. Sharing the pictures, the makers wrote, “#Peddi wraps up a key schedule in Delhi with immersive, poetic visuals…A few superb sequences were shot in this schedule #PEDDI WORLDWIDE RELEASE ON 27th MARCH, 2026.”

 

 

The update has further heightened excitement around the film, which has already been generating strong buzz following the release of its teaser and the launch of the song ‘Chikiri Chikiri’. The track has emerged as a massive chartbuster, with fans across India and internationally recreating its signature hook step. The song has reportedly crossed over 100 million views, with videos pouring in from countries including Japan, the UAE and beyond, turning it into a global phenomenon.

 

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi marks Janhvi Kapoor’s second Telugu film and positions her in a prominent role opposite Ram Charan. The film also boasts a strong supporting cast featuring Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar and Divyendu Sharma, adding further weight to the project.

 

Adding to the scale and anticipation is the music, composed by Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman, whose original score and soundtrack album are expected to play a key role in shaping the film’s emotional landscape. The technical team includes art director Kolla Avinash and editor Navin Nooli, among others, ensuring a high production value.
