Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab postponed, reveal sources
Prabhas is all set to explore a rare genre of horror comedy in The Raja Saab. Considering this and several other factors, the film has immense anticipation with expectations soaring by the day. However, fans may be disappointed to know that the release of the film, which was slated in summer this year, might get pushed a little further. The new release date is yet to be revealed.
Sources confirm delay but hint at a surprise for Sankranti
While there has been no official confirmation on the release being postponed, sources close to the film have hinted that the film may not be complete on schedule. A source close to the film opened up about the postponement but refrained from giving any reason and shared, “The release of the highly anticipated film The Raja Saab has been postponed and will no longer release on April 10, 2025 as originally scheduled.”
The source insisted that the makers are yet to finalize a new date for the film. Furthermore, it was also asserted that the Sankranti will bring in a surprise for Prabhas fans. “Full-fledged promotions will kick off once the new release date is finalized. In the meantime, a SPECIAL WISHES poster might be released for Sankranthi,” added the source.
About The Raja Saab
With Malavika Mohanan making her Telugu debut, The Raja Saab will also star Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. The film will have Prabhas in a dual role and revolves around a young man, who sets his eyes on his ancestral property to ease him out of a financial crisis, but soon realizes that the mansion is haunted by the vengeful spirit of Raja Saab. Directed by Maruthi, the film has music by Thaman S, cinematography by Karthik Palani, editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, and is produced under the banner People Media Factory.
