Stand-up comedian and actor Karthik Kumar took to Instagram recently in a video titled "For all the click baits." While not explicitly mentioning a recent interview by his ex-wife, singer Suchitra, the message resonated with his followers.

In the video, Karthik asserts his stance as an LGBTQIA+ ally. He emphasizes that there is no shame in any sexual orientation and encourages individuals to be proud of their identities. He mentions attending Pride rallies and expresses his support for the community.

Karthik's video avoids directly addressing the unverified claims made by Suchitra. He maintains a cheerful demeanor throughout, focusing on promoting inclusivity and acceptance. In the video he said, “If I am a homosexual, no? I would not be ashamed of being homosexual. I would be very very proud to be any kind of sexual in the gigantic and glorious spectrum of sexuality that exists out there.”
He further added, “I would not be ashamed. I would be proud. I would join a pride rally in my city, which I anyway will. All kinds of sexualities join the pride rally and show your support. There is no shame anymore. There’s just pride. Be proud.”
The video garnered positive comments from followers commending Karthik's stance on LGBTQIA+ rights. However, some expressed opinions about the privacy of personal lives. Actress Amrutha Srinivasan, Karthik's wife, also shared the video.
