Kareena Kapoor Khan to venture into South with Yash starrer Toxic? Details inside

In 2024, Kareena Kapoor Khan will star in Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders. While she also has Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, it seems like she is venturing into the South film industry with the upcoming Yash movie Toxic. Earlier reports also suggested that Sai Pallavi is a part of the film.

In a report by Filmfare, sources revealed, “Kareena Kapoor Khan will team up with Yash for Toxic. The film will mark Kareena’s first collaboration with the KGF star. The makers of the film are yet to make an announcement.” The casting announcement and other details are yet to be unveiled.

 

Back in December 2023, Yash announced the title of his next film. He took to Instagram to announce the title and wrote, “'What you seek is seeking you ‘ – Rumi A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups #TOXIC.” The actor was seen wearing a hat and holding a cigar.

 

The film will be produced by KVN Productions. For the same, the actor was in London in September 2023 for the film's pre-production work.

 

Several reports suggest that the film is touted to be an action entertainer with a drug mafia storyline at the centre of it. The story will be reportedly set in Goa. The high-budget movie will be mounted on a huge scale. The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, will be released in theatres on April 10, 2025.
