The promotional campaign for Peddi continued in Bengaluru recently, where actors Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor and Shiva Rajkumar attended a special press meet ahead of the film’s release. During the interaction, Janhvi Kapoor spoke about working with Ram Charan and humorously commented on the actor’s energy levels while performing dance sequences.

Praising her co-star in a light-hearted manner, Janhvi said, “I’ll tell you the best weight loss tip I can give you all. Try to do a song with Ram Charan sir. You will become skinny in half a day.”

The comment drew laughter during the event and quickly gained traction online among fans of the actors. Janhvi and Ram Charan are currently receiving attention for their recently released song ‘Hellallallo’, which also features Shruti Haasan. The energetic dance track follows the release of previously launched songs ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ and ‘Rai Rai Raa Raa’.

The trailer of Peddi, unveiled recently, offered a glimpse into the sports-based drama, showcasing Ram Charan as a crossover athlete navigating different sporting arenas, from rural village competitions to international stadiums. The film has been positioned as a pan-India entertainer with a strong ensemble cast and large-scale production setup.

Earlier this month, the makers also organised a musical event in Bhopal featuring members of the cast and crew, including Ravi Kishan, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, director Buchi Babu Sana and composer A. R. Rahman.

Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Ram Charan alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma and Jagapathi Babu. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings and IVY Entertainment. It is scheduled to premiere globally on June 3, 2026, followed by its theatrical release worldwide on June 4, 2026.
