EXCLUSIVE: The reincarnation of Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in SS Rajamouli's RRR - Surprise Revealed

SS Rajamouli's period drama, RRR is easily the most anticipated Indian film at the moment and the makers have started a countdown for the theatrical release on October 13. The movie features Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in lead and is said to be the costliest Indian film mounted on a budget of over Rs. 400 crores.

Time and again, SS Rajamouli and his father, KV Vijayendra Prasad have spoken about how RRR is a fictional story spun around two real-life freedom fighters - Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetarama Raju. Bollywood Hungama has an inside scoop on the plot. "The film deals with the idea of reincarnation. SS Rajamouli has planned to take the audience by surprise as the two lead characters, who lose their lives in the early 1900s, are reborn to fight for Independence in the 1940s," a source from the South informed Bollywood Hungama.

 

The entire aspect of reincarnation has been kept under wraps for now by SS Rajamouli and the entire unit. However, according to the source, it will be the key attraction of RRR that separates it from other stories from the 1900s wherein the key characters fight for the Independence of India. Meanwhile, the first song, ‘Dosti’, will be out on August 1, on the occasion of Friendship Day. It was shot recently in Hyderabad with the entire cast and a unit of 1000 plus background dancers. The song will be released in multiple Indian languages.
