EXCLUSIVE: Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 3’s exciting glimpse to appear as mid-credit scene in Indian 2; is 2 minutes and 30 seconds long

Director Shankar, known for his mass-appealing films, is back with a bang with Indian 2, which releases today. The Hindi version, called Hindustani 2, has also got a simultaneous release. The first part was called Indian in Tamil and Hindustani in Hindi. These films were released in 1996 and the sequel appears nearly 28 years later. And if all goes well, the third part, Indian 3 aka Hindustani 3 will release in cinemas just 28 weeks from now. Bollywood Hungama, in this report, brings to you some exciting news on this aspect.

 

EXCLUSIVE: Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 3’s exciting glimpse to appear as mid-credit scene in Indian 2; is 2 minutes and 30 seconds long

 

As per sources, the exclusive and exciting glimpse of Indian 3 will be played during the end credits of Indian 2. An exhibition source told Bollywood Hungama, “As per the information we have received, the end credits will roll for 30 seconds. This will be followed by the asset of Indian 3. The duration of the glimpse of the third part is 2 minutes and 30 seconds.” There are also reports that the makers have mentioned in the Indian 3 visuals that it’ll be released in cinemas in January 2025.

 

The first part starred Kamal Haasan in a double role along with Urmila Matondkar and Manisha Koirala. Kamal, in this film, played the role of a freedom fighter Senapathy who turns a hero of the masses when he starts killing corrupt government officials. The veteran star also played the role of Senapathy’s son Chandu. The climax shows Senapathy finishing off his son, who was also brazen and corrupt, and then running away to a foreign country.

 

In Indian 2/Hindustani 2, Senapathy returns to fight corruption in India. Besides Kamal Haasan, the sequel also stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh and S J Suryah.

 

At the trailer launch of Hindustani 2, Siddharth talked about Kamal Haasan’s dedication, “He gives 200% to his work and it’s an absolute gift to see him work. His make-up used to start at 3:30 am and it used to take four hours. He couldn’t even eat or drink properly during that time. Warna make-up hil jaata tha. He used to consume only a liquid diet, that too, through a straw. And after completing his day’s work, he used to take 1 ½ hours to remove his makeup.”
