Divyenndu joins Ram Charan for Buchi Babu Sana’s RC16

Best known for his role in Pyaar Ka Punchnama and the much-loved web-series Mirzapur, Divyenndu aka Divyenndu Sharma has bagged another major movie. The popular actor has been got on board for the next directorial of filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, which is being referred to as RC16. An official announcement of the same has been shared on social media by the makers.

Taking to the social media platform Instagram, filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana shared this good news saying, “Our Bhayya… Your Bhayya… MUNNA BHAYYA! Welcome onboard dear @divyenndu brother” he shared and also added a white heart and hug emoji. “Let’s rock it,” he stated and concluded it with a firecracker emoji. Responding to the post, Divyenndu said, “So Happy n Honoured” and also dropped heart and folded hands emojis. Furthermore, his avatar as the bearded gunda has definitely piqued the interest of netizens regarding his role in the movie. Fans of the actor as well as the ones eagerly awaiting for the film couldn’t hold their excitement over this new update and shared their happy comments on the post.

 

 

For the unversed, Buchi Babu Sana has been sharing major updates about this untitled Ram Charan film on his official Instagram page. During Diwali, the filmmaker revealed about kicking off the shoot schedule of RC16. Later this month, the director visited the Chamudeshwari Mata temple in Mysore to seek blessings for the film.

 

As for the cast, it was earlier revealed that RC16 will have Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady marking her second Telugu venture after Devara: Part 1 with Jr NTR. Apart from her and Divyenndu being the latest addition to the star cast, the film will also feature Jagapathi Babu and Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in key roles. Produced by Pushpa team of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, RC16 is expected to feature music composed by A. R. Rahman.
