Disha Patani to be stationed in Goa for a month-long schedule for Suriya 42

Earlier this month, it was reported that Disha Patani signed yet another project after Ek Villain Returns. The actress will be playing the lead in Suriya 42 which is expected to be a periodic action film. The actress on Tuesday was seen at the Mumbai airport heading to Goa to commence the shoot. She will reportedly be stationed in Goa for a month.

A source close to the actress reveals, “Disha is all excited and ready to go all out for her role opposite Suriya. She will be stationed in Goa for a month-long schedule. She is super kicked to be part of such a huge project. Moreover, the character that she is playing is also quite unique”.

 

On bagging the role in the Suriya starrer, Disha earlier said, “I am super kicked to announce my next with Suriya sir and Siva sir. It feels great to be a part of such a huge project that has got all the larger-than-life elements for the audience to experience on the big screen. Moreover, the character that I am playing is also quite unique and I am also excited to bring my never seen before avatar to the audience."

 

Suriya 42 is expected to be mounted on a lavish scale and is set against a historical backdrop. The film is expected to release in 10 different languages.

 

On the work front, Disha Patani will also be seen in Karan Johar's Yodha co-starring Sidharth Malhotra and Project K alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone.
