Akansha Ranjan Kapoor to play leading lady of Sundeep Kishan in MaayaOne

Sundeep Kishan, who is awaiting the release of the highly anticipated Ooru Peru Bhairavakona with creative director Vi Anand will be teaming up with AK Entertainments yet again for their production No. 26. With CV Kumar helming the project and marking his second collaboration with Sundeep after the sensational hit ProjectZ/Maayavan, the two are coming for a sequel. The popular sci-fi action thriller will be set in the world created by its prequel and the makers have unveiled the title to be MaayaOne. Furthermore it is being said that actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor has been roped in for this upcoming venture.

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor made her acting debut with Dharma Productions' first OTT film Guilty, and later went on to be a part of the critically acclaimed anthology series Ray, Huma Qureshi-Rajkummar Rao starrer Monica O My Darling, among others. The actress, we hear, has come on board to play the leading lady opposite Sundeep Kishan. MaayaOne marks the feature film debut and sources claim that the makers were impressed with Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and her acting prowess in some of the OTT content which they came across.

 

 

MaayaOne is expected to be portray the story of a common man’s clash with a supervillain and will be mounted on a high budget with top-class production and technical standards. For the same, some of the most noted technicians have been roped in for the film. Karthik K Thillai has come on board as the cinematographer whereas renowned composer Santhosh Narayanan who gave a chartbuster album for Nani's Dasara and is working on Prabhas' much awaited film Kalki 2898 AD, will score the music for this entertainer too.

 

Adventures International Pvt Ltd will presenting this sci-fi entertainer whereas it will be produced by Rambrahmam Sunkara. Kishore Garikipati (GK) is the executive producer. Further details on the film are yet to be revealed.
