Tom Holland says Spider-Man 4 meetings were happening but are put on hold: “We’ve put the meetings on pause in solidarity with the writers”

Hollywood actor Tom Holland has confirmed that he has been having meetings for the next chapter of Spider-Man in Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, he can’t share much considering the talks have been put on hold amid the ongoing strike of the writers.

At the premiere of his Apple TV+ show The Crowded Room in New York City, Holland told Variety, “I can’t talk about that, but I can say that we have been having meetings. We’ve put the meetings on pause in solidarity with the writers. There’s been multiple conversations had, but at this point, it’s very, very early stages.”

 

Recently, producer Amy Pascal said “Are we going to make another movie? Of course we are. We’re in the process, but with the writers’ strike, nobody is working during the strike. We’re all being supporters and whenever they get themselves together, we’ll get started.”

 

Meanwhile, Tom Holland stars in and serves as an executive producer for the anticipated 10-episode series The Crowded Room. The series will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on Friday, June 9, 2023, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through July 28, 2023.
