Moon Ga Young and Yoo Yeon Seok engage in banter in the new teaser of The Interest of Love

South Korea’s upcoming drama JTBC’s The Interest of Love has unveiled another sneak peek at the lives of Yoo Yeon Seok and Moon Ga Young’a characters.

According to Korean tabloid Soompi, The Interest of Love is a romance drama about four individuals with different interests who meet each other at the Yeongpo branch of KCU Bank and come to understand the true meaning of love. Yoo Yeon Seok plays Ha Sang Soo, a man who wishes for nothing more than normalcy as he goes through each day with an unshakable stance.

 

“But the stable hold he has on his emotions and thoughts begins to waver as he falls for his co-worker Ahn Soo Young (Moon Ga Young), who does not easily give her heart away to just anyone.” The newly dropped teaser shows the everyday life of bank employees. The teaser opens with So Kyung Pil (Moon Tae Yoo) telling Ha Sang Soo, as translated by Soompi, “The bank is not a workplace of the Gods. The bank is the God, and we’re just nobodies.”

 

In the next scene, the clip introduces to our four leads Ha Sang Soo, Ahn Soo Young, Park Mi Kyung (Geum Sae Rok), and Jung Jong Hyun (Jung Ga Ram) who are seen dealing with their rollercoaster of emotions and struggling with everyday office life.

 

As their friendship, and potential romance, begins to go a level up, snarky little banters and tiffs ensue. The text in between the scenes heralds the change in their relationship, “When not even our customer and our duties are clear, can love become a certain thing?”

 

Towards the end, Ha Sang Soo tries to pettily point out Ahn Soo Young’s faults by sarcastically saying, “I see that you printed this in an 11-font size. This customer has presbyopia so they’ll throw tantrums if the font is small, I guess you didn’t know that?” to which Ahn Soo Young replies, “They got Lasik surgery a month ago and now they have good eyesight. I guess you didn’t know that?”
