Black Knight: Kim Woo Bin becomes deliveryman to help refugees in dystopian Netflix series, see poster

South Korean star Kim Woo Bin’s upcoming futuristic drama Black Knight from Netflix, has officially unveiled a new poster! According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, based on a webtoon, Black Knight takes place in 2071 where pollution has become so severe that people can’t survive without respirators and tells of the story that unfolds as legendary deliveryman 5-8, who has extraordinary fighting skills, meets refugee Sa Wol, who dreams of becoming a deliveryman because they are the refugees’ only hope.

The outlet sheds light on the description by sharing, “As Korea undergoes desertification, the remaining 1 percent of humanity has become stratified, and deliverymen have come to play an extremely important role in society.” Kim Woo Bin is set to portray the legendary deliveryman.

 

The newly unveiled poster shares a glimpse of the dystopian world completely engulfed in sand and extreme air pollution as it seems. In the center of the poster is a respiratory mask and behind the respirator is a person presumed to be the deliveryman, who is approaching with a box in his hands. The drama is written and directed by Cho Ui Seok. Besides Kim Woo Bin, it also stars Esom and Kang Yoo Seok.

 

 

 

Netflix’s new webtoon-based drama Black Knight premieres in later half of 2023.
