Zoya Akhtar shares behind-the-scenes photo of Khushi Kapoor from The Archies on her birthday; Arjun Kapoor, Anshula, Shanaya share cutesy messages

The Archies’ debutant Khushi Kapoor celebrates her birthday today. As she gears up for her debut in the film industry, she has been promoting the movie with the entire cast. Now, her director, Zoya Akhtar has taken to social media to extend her wishes.

Zoya Akhtar took to her Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes photo from the sets of The Archies in which Khushi plays the role of Betty. She captioned, “Happy Birthday Betty @khushi05k #behindthescenes #coverthetattoo #thearchies @thearchiesonnetflix.”

 

 

 

Arjun Kapoor, her older brother, also shared a picture with Khushi along with a note which read, “Happy birthday @khushi05k. I hope & pray this year it allows you to build towards the rest of your life with all the effort & hard work you have put into ur first film paying dividends… I don’t say it enough to perhaps any of my sisters but love you even if you are dad's favourite child & he’s always gonna have an extra bias towards you.”

 

 

 

Anshula Kapoor, her older sister, shared a video from the birthday celebrations and wrote, “My only wish for you this year is that may you always be as joyful, & carefree, and everything that you hold close to your heart always be yours! Shanaya Kapoor, Khushi’s cousin, shared an old video from the time Khushi was a child and her mother Sridevi was helping her cut the cake. Meanwhile, a heartfelt coming-of-age tale set in the idyllic backdrop of the 1960s, The Archies draws viewers into the lives of a beloved group of teenagers. The film is a collaborative effort between Netflix India, Tiger Baby, Archie Comics, and Graphic India. Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, the highly anticipated film will be released on Netflix worldwide on December 7, 2023.
