Watch: Jackie Shroff stars in the emotional short film Makhmal

With the increasing trend of short films, many Bollywood celebrities are experimenting with this form of cinema since it attracts a large number of audiences, especially the youth. After Radhika Apte's psychological thriller Ahalya, we stumbled upon yet another short film, an emotional drama titled Makhmal (Velvet), written and directed by Faraz Ali starring Jackie Shroff.

 

Jackie Shroff, who is busy with the promotions of Jazbaa, plays the role of a doting father in this 17 minute film. The story revolves around a piece of velvet as it binds the separated father (Jackie) and daughter (played by Palak Dey) in a unique and heart-touching manner.
