Trends launches high-energy 'Party Crashers' campaign with brand ambassador Aneet Padda, celebrating confident, standout style
Trends stepped into the festive and party season with a fresh and playful approach, inviting consumers to experience fashion that truly “gets you in.” While many brands tried to claim their space in the crowded December fashion landscape, Trends—alongside Bengaluru-based creative agency Phantom Ideas—chose to shake things up by “crashing the party” with its new campaign, “Trends Party Crashers – Fashion That Gets You In,” featuring Gen Z favourite and the brand’s new ambassador, Aneet Padda.
As India’s largest fashion destination, Trends already had a strong presence with over 2,000 stores across 1,000+ cities. The brand housed more than 100 national and international apparel and accessory labels, along with 20 in-house brands across menswear, womenswear and kidswear. With December marking peak celebrations—weddings, Christmas gatherings, New Year parties and countless social events—the brand aimed to highlight its diverse and trendy partywear through a narrative that felt youthful, confident and relatable.
The campaign, themed “Aneet’s Party Picks – Fashion That Gets You In,” showed Aneet Padda and her friends confidently entering parties they had not been invited to. Each time they were stopped or questioned, Aneet relied on her charisma, self-assurance and stylish outfits from Trends to turn the moment in her favour. The films celebrated individuals who managed to blend in and stand out at the same time, capturing the energy of wedding parties, brunch scenes and house gatherings.
“As the go-to fashion brand for a majority of the country, Trends has the responsibility to be a trendsetter for young people everywhere,” said Nitin Sehgal, Business Head, Trends. “This campaign showed that we understood the mindset of today’s youth and reinforced our role as an all-occasion stylist for modern India.”
Recognizing the festive season as a critical period for both image-building and sales, the brand focused on presenting styles that grabbed attention instantly. The Trends team and Phantom Ideas saw an opportunity to differentiate themselves in a competitive partywear market by stepping away from standard catalogue-style shoots and embracing a more narrative-driven, playful identity.
“The Party Crashers campaign was created to portray Trends as a fashion brand willing to stand out and push the boundaries of playfulness, while staying rooted in our desi sensibilities,” said Robbie Anthoney, Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Phantom Ideas. “Trends’ contemporary partywear, combined with Aneet Padda’s charm and crisp storytelling, made it the right approach to connect with India’s partygoing audience.”
This digital-first campaign quickly gained attention online for its fun concept, engaging style and warm, youthful storytelling. The featured looks and partywear styles showcased in the films were made available across all Trends stores nationwide, giving shoppers a chance to recreate Aneet’s standout “party picks” this festive season.
