"The stereotype of casting people because of their age or face has been smashed," says Molkki actress Priyal Mahajan

Actress Priyal Mahajan, who is best known as Purvi of Molkki has been the talk of the town for her role and has succeeded in gaining immense love and adulation in a fairly less amount of time. The actress who carried the entire responsibility of the show on her shoulders believes that the industry has evolved tremendously in these past few years.

Talking about how the term 'Stereotype' has been perpetuated from the industry as a whole, Priyal explained "There has been a tremendous change in the industry in the recent years. And it is correct to say that the stereotype of casting people because of their age or face has been smashed. If you have talent and you can prove it then you are equally valued and given the right chances and opportunities"

 

Furthermore, the actress also spoke about how she feels that there is no pros and cons of the profession that she is a part of. She says "I don’t think there is a worst or best part to working in this industry. At the end of the day it is your work and your passion so you can’t crib about things. But one thing I love about my work is the regularity, meeting new people and learning new things every single day" she concluded.

 

On the professional front, Priyal has been the face of many leading brands in the past and started off with her television career with Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 as Tapur Basu.
