Sonal Chauhan meets die-hard fan who gifts hand-made sketch during Shera shooting
Sonal Chauhan is currently in Chandigarh shooting for Shera, an intense family action drama and her first Punjabi film. During a shoot, she met a fan who had been hoping to meet her since her iconic role in Jannat. The two shared a warm conversation, and the fan, calling Sonal her “girl crush” since the Jannat days, gifted her a hand-drawn sketch and a handwritten note as a token of admiration.
Released in 2008, Jannat remains memorable for its music, engaging storyline, romance, and the on-screen chemistry of Emraan Hashmi and Sonal Chauhan. One of the film’s lasting appeals is how Sonal brought emotional depth to her role, perfectly complementing Emraan’s performance.
Sonal Chauhan is expanding her presence as a pan-Indian actress by entering the Punjabi film industry, after making a mark in Hindi and South cinema. Recently, she revealed her first look from Shera and introduced her character, Sahiba.
While the makers have kept details about the film’s plot and theme under wraps, audiences are eager to explore the world of Shera. Directed by Savio Sanddhu, the film is set to release in theatres soon.
