The preview of Netflix’s upcoming web series The Ba***ds Of Bollywood was launched today in a grand manner in Mumbai. The show marks Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s debut as a writer and director and it stars Lakshya and Sahher Bambba. The biggest moment of the evening arrived when Shah Rukh Khan introduced Aryan to the audience for the first time.

SRK said, “Ladies and gentleman, I am going to call on stage the creator and the director of The Ba***ds Of Bollywood – Aryan Khan.”

 

Aryan arrived on the stage in a confident manner. He was greeted by his father through a peck on his cheek. After doing the customary Namaste to the people present, Aryan said in Hindi, “Aaj main bohat nervous hoon kyunki aaj main pehli baar sab ke saamne stage par aaya hoon. Aur isliye do din aur teen raaton se main yeh speech baar baar lagatar practice kiye ja raha hoon. In fact, main itna nervous hoon ki mere dad teleprompter pe bhi likhwate rahe hain. Aur just in case yahan ki bijli chali jaye, main ek kaagaz ke tukde par bhi likh kar laya hoon… torch ke saath (takes out a paper and torch from his pocket).”

Aryan added, “Aur agar tab bhi mujhse mistake ho jaye, toh papa hai na!” He pointed towards SRK, who had stuck the speech on a piece of paper on his back. Aryan ended his speech saying, “Aur ab is sab ke baad bhi mujhse galti ho jaye, mujhe please maaf kar dena. Yeh mera first time hai.” His last sentence was met with applause.

 

The Ba***ds Of Bollywood will be streaming on Netflix from September 18.
