Salman Khan extends warm birthday wishes to Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar: “My friend and brother, a very happy birthday”

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan shared a heartfelt post on social media to wish Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck a happy birthday. Calling him his “friend and brother,” he wished him joy and love on his special day and expressed his excitement about visiting Bhutan soon.

Salman Khan shared a photo of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck on Instagram, extending his heartfelt birthday wishes. In the caption, he wrote, “Wishing His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo of Bhutan, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, my friend and brother, a very happy birthday! On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in the action thriller Sikandar, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna. Reports suggest the film has entered its final leg of shooting, with the team aiming to wrap up by March 2025. Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the highly anticipated action entertainer has been generating massive buzz since its announcement.

 

According to Mid-Day, a source revealed, “Led by Murugadoss sir, the team has been going full throttle on the shoot. Salman finished the Mumbai schedule on February 14 late at night. The unit wrapped up at 6 am. All major portions have been shot and have reached the edit table. Only a two-day shoot with Salman in Rajkot is remaining, which has been lined up for the first week of March.”

 

Recently, Salman Khan unveiled a new poster of Sikandar, amping up fans' excitement for its release. The poster showcased him with a fierce expression, gripping a knife. In the caption, he reaffirmed that Sikandar will hit theaters on March 28, 2025, aligning with Eid al-Fitr.
