Saif Ali Khan admits he can be 'Emotionally Needy', says he feels lucky marrying Kareena Kapoor

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan recently opened up about his marriage with Kareena Kapoor Khan, candidly admitting that he can sometimes be emotionally dependent in a relationship. During a recent conversation with his sister Soha Ali Khan and brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu, Saif spoke about the emotional dynamics of relationships and how partners often rely on each other for support. Speaking about himself, the actor admitted, “I can be emotionally needy.” At the same time, he emphasized how fortunate he feels to have Kareena in his life. “I am very lucky that my wife and I are on the same page,” he said, adding that having a partner who understands you makes a significant difference.

 

Saif also reflected on the early phase of their relationship, admitting that being in a relationship with a fellow actor initially came with its own challenges. The actor shared that in the beginning he sometimes found it difficult to deal with the realities of the profession, including seeing his partner work closely with other actors. However, he explained that such emotions are natural and can be managed with maturity. “These are emotions you need to process maturely, and you need a lot of trust and belief in each other,” Saif said, stressing the importance of communication and understanding in a relationship.

 

The couple first grew close while working together on the 2008 film Tashan. Their friendship gradually developed into a relationship, and after dating for several years, they tied the knot in October 2012. Today, Saif and Kareena are parents to two sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. Both actors have often spoken about balancing their professional commitments with family life, frequently highlighting the importance of mutual respect and support in their marriage.
