Rohit Shetty, known for working with top stars such as Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Kareena Kapoor, offered a broader view on the matter. "With me, it is totally different. When we talk about the cost, it is not just the actors. Everything from traveling to ticketing and hotels, the prices for everything have gone up. It is not just actors. The whole cost has gone up for a lot of things," Shetty explained. He highlighted that the overall increase in expenses affects the entire production process, not just the actors' entourages.

 

The role of CGI in modern filmmaking

 

Rohit Shetty also addressed the increasing use of CGI in films over the past few years. "I think now everyone is using VFX. It is not just us but all over the world. Most importantly, it is a bit easier and safer. When you are doing hand-to-hand combat, we are trying to be as real as possible. We are old-school guys. For me, hand-to-hand combat will always be real. Even when you see my next venture (Singham Again), hand-to-hand combat is real and yes, there is a lot of CG as well," he noted. Shetty emphasized the balance between practical effects and CGI to enhance the safety and realism of action sequences.

 

Upcoming projects and future ventures

 

Rohit Shetty made his OTT debut with Indian Police Force, which was released earlier this year in January. The series has garnered attention and anticipation for his upcoming film, Singham Again. The film, featuring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone, is set to hit theaters on November 1, 2024. Fans are eagerly awaiting this release, which promises to combine Shetty's signature action sequences with modern CGI techniques.
