Rishab Shetty, the actor-filmmaker behind Kantara Chapter 1, was recently seen at the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, seeking blessings following the massive success of his latest film. The prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara has been performing exceptionally well at the box office, both in India and internationally.

Today Friday morning, Rishab was seen leaving the temple barefoot, dressed in a simple white shirt and traditional mundu. Surrounded by his security team, the actor greeted fans with a smile, posed briefly for pictures, and then made his way to his car. The visit appeared to be a spiritual pause amid a whirlwind of success and celebrations.

In Kantara Chapter 1, Rishab Shetty delivered a compelling performance that has been widely praised by critics and audiences alike. Set a thousand years before the events of the original film, Kantara Chapter 1 explores the origins of the story and introduces audiences to a new set of characters. Rishab Shetty plays Berme, a tribal man fighting for the autonomy and dignity of his people. The conflict intensifies when Prince Kulashekara, played by Gulshan Devaiah, tries to take control of the land and its inhabitants.

 

The film also stars Rukmini Vasanth and Jayaram, and has been praised for its strong performances, gripping storyline, and stunning visual effects. Rishab not only starred in the lead role but also wrote and directed the film.
