REVEALED: Randeep Hooda’s uniformed look from Battle of Sargarhi

 

Rajkumar Santoshi’s ambitious film Sargarhi went on floors last year but the film was subjected to many speculations including the buzz that the production came to a halt due to financial crisis. However a couple of pictures that recently released online tell a different tale.REVEALED: Randeep Hooda’s uniformed look from Battle of Sargarhi

 

 

Randeep Hooda was seen in the quintessential pagdi (Punjabi turban) and in a khaki clad soldier avatar all set to strike. The actor unveiled his first look at the book launch of Captain Amarinder Singh, the current Chief Minister of Punjab. Besides this, not much has been revealed about the status of the film of late.

 

Earlier we had mentioned about Battle of Sargarhi which was fought in 1897 that represented the valour of the Sikhs who fought a war with 10,000 Afghanis despite having a small army. Randeep Hooda plays the role of Havildar Ishar Singh who led the 4th Battalion of the Sikh Regiment.

 

In fact, there are two other films that is said to be made on the same subject, one is Ajay Devgn’s Sons of Sardar 2 and the other is a Karan Johar-Salman Khan film with Akshay Kumar which is yet to be titled.
